Chicago - Long Beach Production - 1992
Cast: Bebe Neuwirth (Velma Kelly), Juliet Prowse (Roxie Hart), Gary Sandy (Billy Flynn), Kaye Ballard (Matron "Mama" Morton), Barney Martin (Amos Hart), M. O'Haughey (Mary Sunshine)
Notes: Recreation of the original Fosse staging and choreography. A very interesting watch - here we see the first time Bebe ever played Velma, and she is quite good, if not as revelatory as she was in the eventual broadway revival. Excellent performances all around, although due to the sound O'Haughey's falsettoy delivery of Mary's songs are a bit too quiet to register. Fun bit of Trivia, this production was directed by Rob Marshall (the eventual direction of the 2002 film) and choreographed by Ann Reinking (who recreated Fosse's choreography for the revival that is currently running on broadway).
P.S. This copy has a lot of severe skips and scratchiness from Class onward to the end; it also is missing Razzle Dazzle.. If anyone has an undamaged copy (if one exists), I would very much like it.
Chicago - Broadway Revival - Pro-Shot Footage - 1996
Cast: Ann Reinking (Roxie Hart), Bebe Neuwirth (Velma Kelly), James Naughton (Billy Flynn), Joel Grey (Amos Hart), Marcia Lewis (Matron "Mama" Morton), D. Sabella (Mary Sunshine)
Notes: Pro-shot video used to make the reviewer's reel. All the songs and most of the important scenes. Occaisonal cuts and skips. Video runs for 90 minutes, then there's about 30 minutes of footage shot from a different angle that fills in some of the skips and gaps. Time code at the bottom.
Chicago - UK Revival - 27th March 2004
Cast: Pia Douwes (Velma Kelly), Frances Ruffelle (Roxie Hart), Alex Bourne (Billy Flynn), Zee Asha (Mama Morton)
Notes: Shot from the orchestra, quite a lot of head obstructions, some black outs, great sound though. Starts about 2 minutes into 'All that Jazz'. Pia is excellent as always, so is Zee, and Frances is exactly as youd want her to be.
Often mislabeled as 27th March 2008; Pia Douwes was not a member of the 2008 cast though
Chicago - Broadway Revival - May 4th, 2004
Cast: Pia Douwes (Velma Kelly), Belle Callaway (Roxie Hart), Tom Wopat (Billy Flynn), PJ Benjamin (Amos Hart), Roz Ryan (Matron "Mama" Morton), D. Sabella (Mary Sunshine), Liz (Michelle Robinson), Roxanne Corrasco(Annie), Donna Marie Asbury (June), Jennifer Dunne (U/S Hunyak), Michelle Dejean (Mona)
Notes: Starts at "All That Jazz." Shakey at times but overall good quality; Pia is exceptional. Cast info beyond the six leads is pulled from the "rollcall" at the end of the show.
Chicago - Broadway Revival - October 25th, 2011
Cast: Kara DioGuardi (Roxie Hart), Amra-Faye Wright (Velma Kelly), Tony Yazbeck (Billy Flynn), Chris Sullivan (Amos Hart), Carol Woods (Matron "Mama" Morton), R. Lowe (Mary Sunshine), Nili Bausman (Hunyak), Melissa Rae Mahon (Go-To-Hell Kitty), Liz (Nicole Bridgewater), Jill Nicklaus (Annie), Donna Marie Asbury (June), Dylis Croman (Mona)
Notes: Very good HD capture. Kara's acting is incredibly stilted but her singing is top notch. The rest of the cast is exceptional (Carol Woods and R. Lowe are my favorite Mama and Mary, respectively). Cast info beyond the six leads is pulled from the "rollcall" at the end of the show.
Chicago - Hollywood Bowl - July 26th, 2013
Cast: Samantha Barks (Velma Kelly), Ashlee Simpson-Wentz (Roxie Hart), Stephen Moyer (Billy Flynn), Lucy Lawless (Matron "Mama" Morton), Drew Carey (Amos Hart), D. Tablak (Mary Sunshine)
Notes: Nicely shot video from a tripod. Set is essentially the same as that of the broadway production but made slightly larger with additions to accomadate the larger space. Samantha, Stephen, Lucy and D. Tablak are exceptional; Drew Carey is a bit underwhelming. And Ashlee Simpson is about as good as you'd expect a woman who's most famous for a lip-syncing scandal to be.
Chicago - Broadway - July 5th, 2015
Cast: Brandy Norwood (Roxie Hart), Amra-Faye Wright (Velma Kelly), Ivan Hernandez (Billy Flynn), Raymond Bokhour (Amos Hart), NaTasha Yvette Williams (Matron "Mama" Morton), R. Lowe (Mary Sunshine), Nicole Brodgewater (Liz), Kelcy Griffin (Annie), Donna Marie Asbury (June), Jennifer Dunne (U/S Hunyak), Angel Reda (Mona), Lara Siebert Young (Go-To-Hell Kitty)
Notes: Excellent HD capture of Brandy Norwood joining the cast as Roxie. Everything is nicely captured, a few minor and quick parts to the extreme far right can be blocked a few times. Brandy does a very very good job with the role, arguably one of my favorites in the role. Everyone else is also pretty good, save for Amra-Faye, who's getting a bit too long in the tooth to pull off Velma. Her vocals are strong but her acting is too mechianical. I feel as though the longer she stays in the part, the worse she gets (she was fine in the 2011 boot with Kara).
Cast info beyond the six leads is pulled from the "rollcall" at the end of the show.
Chicago - Broadway - June 7th, 2016

Evita - National Tour, Chicago - September 22nd, 2013
Cast: Caroline Bowman (Eva Peron), Josh Young (Che), Sean McLaughlin (Peron), Christopher Johnstone (Magaldi), Krystina Alabado (Mistress)
Personal notes: Probably one of my favorites of all the evita videos I’ve seen - wonderful capture, and Caroline is still probably my favorite Eva.
Hamilton – Broadway - August 13, 2016
cast: Javier Munoz (Alexander Hamilton), Lexi Lawson (Eliza Hamilton), Sydney James Harcourt (u/s Aaron Burr), Renee Elise Goldsberry (Angelica Schuyler), Christopher Jackson (George Washington), Andrew Chappelle (u/s Marquis de Lafayette/Thomas Jefferson), Ephraim Sykes (u/s Hercules Mulligan/James Madison), Anthony Ramos (John Laurens/Philip Hamilton), Jasmine Cephas Jones (Peggy Schuyler/Maria Reynolds), Rory O’Malley (King George), Roddy Kennedy (u/s Phillip Hamilton Sr/James Reynolds),
Notes from the master: A fantastic capture of a new mix of replacements in this wonderful show. Sydney James Harcourt is an absolutely wonderful and incredible Aaron Burr. It’s fully captured with no washout and no blackouts, just a couple very quick dropouts between scenes. There are a couple heads that can be seen occasionally, but they are worked around and don’t obstruct the action. It’s filmed in 16:9, with a mix of wides, mediums, and close-ups. The sound is excellent. Includes curtain call and playbill scans.
My notes: holy fuck this cast is good. VOB+Smalls.

Notes: Multiple cameras Proshot of the new production at the Donmar Warehouse. Broadcast live in cinemas through a satellite feed and this was captured from that feed. Perfect 5.1 sound and HD video. Includes interviews, a behind-the-scenes featurette and optional English subtitles throughout the performance.
The Little Foxes - Broadway - April 4th, 2017 - Blue Company
Cast: Laura Linney (Regina), Cynthia Nixon (Birdie), Richard Thomas (Horrace Giddens) , Michael McKean (Ben Hubbard) , Darren Goldstein (Oscar Hubbard), David Alford (Mr. Marshall), Michael Benz (Leo Hubbard), Francesca Carpanini (Alexandra Giddens), Caroline Stefanie Clay (Addie), Charles Turner (Cal)
Notes: In this revival, Linney and Nixon alternated the roles of Regina and Birdie. This video is of the Blue Company, which had Linney as Regina and Nixon as Birdie.
(I would be very much interested in the video of Nixon as Regina, if anyone has it.)
The Little Mermaid - Broadway - January 30th, 2008
Cast: Sierra Boggess (Ariel), Sherie Rene Scott (Ursula), Bret Shuford (u/s Prince Eric), Norm Lewis (King Triton), Titus Burgess (Sebastian), Eddie Korbich (Scuttle), Trevor Braun (Flounder), Tyler Maynard (Flotsam)
Notes: Great capture with lovely closups. The first 11 minutes after the overture are mostly blackouts due to late comers, after that no real problems
Long Day's Journey Into Night - 2016 Broadway Revival - April 3rd, 2016
Cast: Jessica Lange, Gabriel Byrne, Michael Shannon, John Gallgher Jr, Colby Minifie
Notes: Excellent capture of the Broadway revival. This was the first preview performance and ran close to four hours.

Notes: A much more appropriate angle to film the show. Great capture with just a bit of washout.
Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812 - Broadway - June 27th, 2017
Cast: Dave Malloy (t/r Pierre), Shoba Narayan (u/s Natasha), Brittain Ashford (Sonya), Lucas Steele (Anatole), Amber Gray (Helene), Grace Mclean (Marya D.), Courtney Bassett (u/s Mary), Ken Clark (u/s Andrey/Bolkonsky)
Notes: A Great HD capture of creator Dave Malloy stepping in for a limited run of shows. Beautiful performance from South Asian actress Shoba as Natasha. A few heads shot around in a couple of scenes downstage, but usually worked around when present.
Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812 - Broadway - August 13th, 2013
Cast: Denée Benton (Natasha), Okieriete Onaodowan (Pierre), Lucas Steele (Anatole), Amber Gray (Hélène), Ingrid Michaelson (t/r Sonya), Grace McLean (Marya), Nick Choksi (Dolokhov), Nicholas Belton (Andrey), Courtney Bassett (t/r Mary), Paul Pinto (Balaga)
Notes: This is easily the best recording of the show available. Recorded from the center just in front of the stage, there is no audience obstruction. Because of the proximity, sometimes the recorder covers the camera when cast members are nearby, resulting in usually very brief black-outs. It can be pretty washed out while zoomed out, but zoom-ins begin after the Prologue. There is a very short blackout in Moscow, but otherwise almost no dropouts. Act II starts a few lines into Letters, and there are more dropouts during Balaga as the cast stands and sits very close to the camera. Oak is absolutely fantastic as Pierre; Ingrid is a mediocre Sonya, but her performance is sincere.

Notes: Beautiful HD capture of the PreBroadway tryout at the Goodman Theater. Stunning performances from both ladies. Glorious moment when Patti's bracelet and ring fall off mid song!
